The short version
Places to rent in Pattaya fall into four buckets: condo flats in the towers along Second Road and Jomtien Beach Road, standalone houses in the estates east of Sukhumvit, serviced apartments near the centre, and private pool villas. Nightly, that runs from about $40 at the bottom of the condo market to $700 for a compound that sleeps eighteen. Which one is right depends almost entirely on how many of you there are and how long you’re staying.
One or two people settling in for a month? Take a condo — cheaper, central, easy. A family that cooks? A house east of town. But once there are six, eight, or twelve of you, the buildings start working against you — occupancy caps, juristic-office rules, the group split across three floors. That is the gap Villa Azure fills: three walled pool villas in Jomtien, sleeping 8, 10, or 18 — the whole group behind one gate, per person about what the condos would have cost.
