Karaoke (KTV)
Everything runs through three pieces in a chain. Nine times out of ten it’s just one of them set to the wrong input — and the sound bar is the place to start.

Stays on HDMI automatically
The picture passes through the sound bar on its way to the projector — so if the sound bar is off or on the wrong source, you lose both the picture and the sound.
Turn it on
- Press the power button on the KTV machine itself.
- Switch on the projector with its remote.
- Switch on the sound bar with its remote, then press Source until the display reads HDMI 1.
Two remotes — one for the projector, one for the sound bar. The KTV machine has its own physical power button.
If something’s off
No picture and no sound
It’s almost always the sound bar. Turn it on and press Source until the display reads HDMI 1, then un-mute and turn the volume up. The picture and the music come back together.
Picture, but no music
The sound bar is muted, turned down, or on the wrong source. Set it to HDMI 1, un-mute, and raise the volume.
Music, but no picture
Switch the projector on with its remote. It stays on the right input automatically, so there’s nothing else to change — give it a few seconds to warm up.
Mics not working
Usually the batteries. Spare batteries are by the coffee & tea station — pop those in and you’re set.
Finding songs
Use the touchscreen on the KTV machine to search and choose your songs.
